Potter & Clay: Are You Usable or Broken?
Text: Isaiah 64:8 & 2 Corinthians 4:7

Thesis: To show our relationship & responsibilities to God.

Introduction:

1. Do you feel as though God cannot use you?
2. How can you allow God to use you?

Discussion:

It helps to remember…

I. Who made you.
“we are the world of his hand” (Is. 64:8)

II. What you are.
“we are the clay” (Is. 64:8) & “jars of clay” (2 Cor. 4:7)

III. What you're made of
Some substances are more durable than others.

IV. What your purpose is.
“we have a treasure” (2 Cor. 4:7)

V. What you fill your jar with.

“Hat-Rack” Apps:
1. God made you for a purpose (Eph. 3:10-11, 21).
2. You are less important that God (1 Cor. 11:2).
3. God a plan for you.

Conclusion:

1. God plans to use us for good.
2. Are you a usable “jar” or one that is broken?
